What you need before you start
A recorder, internet at the recorder, an Android phone and a few minutes.

Kepto AI works with the CCTV system you already have. Before you start, check that you have:
- A Hikvision or CP Plus / Dahua recorder (NVR or DVR, including Hikvision Turbo HD DVRs and CP Plus XVRs). Is my recorder supported?
- Internet next to the recorder: a free socket on your router (or a switch) and a network cable. Normal home or shop broadband is enough.
- A power socket near the recorder for the Kepto Bridge.
- An Android phone with the Kepto AI app from the Play Store.
- The recorder's admin password, once, to create a separate user for Kepto. You never give us the admin password.
You don't need new cameras, a new recorder or a fixed IP address, and you don't need to open any ports on your router.
