How it works
Kepto AI adds a brain to the CCTV system you already have. Nothing about your cameras or recorder changes.
1. Kepto Bridge
A small box that sits next to your recorder and plugs into your router with one network cable and a power adapter. It comes ready: there is nothing to set up on it, no password and no screen. It talks to your recorder on your own network and to Kepto Cloud over a secure connection. It never records and never stores video.
2. Connect your recorder in the app
In the Kepto AI app, add the bridge by scanning the card in its box, then connect your recorder: its address, brand and a login (we recommend a separate view-only user). The app checks the recorder, lists its cameras and you choose which ones Kepto AI should watch. The password stays on the bridge, not in the cloud.
3. Kepto AI at work
When your recorder notices something (a person, a vehicle, movement), the bridge fetches a snapshot from the recorder and Kepto AI looks at it: who or what is there, which gate, what time. You get an alert only when it matters (your alert rules decide), a daily report every morning, and answers when you ask a question in the app.
Live view and playback
Watch any camera live, at home or away, and play back any time from your recorder's disk. The video comes from your recorder; Kepto keeps no copy.
Installation
For shops, hostels and offices we (or a Kepto dealer) install the bridge and set it up with you. For homes you can also plug it in yourself: it takes a few minutes.
