Set up alerts
Choose which events send a notification, when, and to whom.

New accounts get useful alerts for your type of place. To change them, open Alerts and tap the settings, or Add rule:
- What: a person arriving or leaving, an unknown person, someone you enrolled, a vehicle, a delivery, an intrusion, a camera going offline, a recorder disk problem.
- Where: all cameras, some locations, or some cameras.
- When: always, or Only at certain times (for example after closing time or at night).
- Who gets it: everyone who can see the camera, or chosen people.
- Show names in the notification: off by default, so your lock screen says "Family member or regular" instead of a name.
Critical alerts (like someone at night) use a louder alarm sound.
